Part of Oneness

Separation is something the mind does, not something the world is.

Separation is something the mind does, not something the world is.

Nonduality is not a belief we adopt but a perception that returns when the noise quiets — in deep meditation and ego dissolution, people across centuries report the same thing: the wall between self and world simply drops. Neuroscience even has a name for the part of the brain that draws that wall, the default mode network, and when it falls quiet the felt boundary goes with it. What we call separateness turns out to be a state the mind runs, not a seam in reality. The river was never two whirlpools; the line we saw was the looking, not the water. If the edge of you can soften and the world stays whole, what was that edge ever made of?
