Nonduality is not the erasure of difference but the recognition of the one light wearing every shape — the same consciousness glancing back from every stranger. We tend to read the world as a crowd of separate selves, each sealed off in its own shell, and we miss that the glow inside each is identical. Oneness is less a belief than a way of seeing: the moment the outer form stops being a wall and becomes a window. To see Buddha-nature in another is simply to notice that what looks out through their eyes is what looks out through ours. When the differences fall quiet, what remains is the recognition. Where, in the faces you passed today, did you almost catch the same light looking back?
